I'm Regg Shumba, I was born and raised in Harare and lived in London for 17 years. I now live in Scotland by the sea with my family.
After years of travelling the world selling vintage print designs, I now collect and curate them for interiors. These original hand-painted 19th & 20th Century designs were originally procured from old mills in France where they were painted to be used on textiles. The variety of handwriting and the jewel-box beauty of these prints are truly special. Now preserved and lovingly restored, I have worked with local Scottish specialist suppliers to create limited edition giclée prints.
The restoration process
Patterngarden's exclusive prints are carefully digitally restored and giclée printed on archival paper to keep the vivid colour, paint bleed and brushstrokes faithful to the original. Patterngarden prints can be mounted and framed to your unique taste.
Exhibitions
I have exhibited my prints in London at Gallery 71, Fulham and in Edinburgh at Dr Neil's Garden, Duddingston.
My local antique shop, Friday Street, in Portobello has also hosted a sale of my prints.
